A beautiful city encircled by pine trees, Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. It derives its name from Lei Shyllong, an idol worshiped at the Shillong Peak. The soothing climate makes Shillong suitable to visit in all seasons. Lady Hydari Park, Ward’s Lake, Cathedral Catholic Church, Capt. Williamson Sangma State Museum, Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, Golf Course, Spread Eagle Falls, Sweet Falls, Ever Living Museum, Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak are most popular spot both with locals and tourist.
Start Journey from Dhaka to Shillong from Hazrat Shahjalal International airport. Arrive in Kolkata Netaji Subhash Chanda Bose International Airport and then check in connecting flight to Guwahati Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. after Immigration formalities welcome by our Tour Manager/Transfer to Shillong Hotel / Small briefing regarding Package and other necessary information about sightseeing point and timing / and free time and overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast proceed to visit Cherrapunjee through beautiful pine trees surrounded by mystical mist and fog. En-route we visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep View Point. It is located at the very start of Sohra tourist circuit, is one of the most prominent attractions of the place. The forest department has made a view-point at this valley from where you can enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty of the valley. However, one has to walk down a number of steps t reach the same. On arrival we visit Ramakrishna Mission, Nohkalikai Falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet), Arwah Cave, Dainthlen Falls, Mawsmai cave (Beautifully preserved by Meghalaya Govt.), Seven Sister Falls and Eco Park. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast proceed to visit Shillong. We visit Cathedral Church (Also known as Cathedral of Marry), Don Bossco Museum (Experience the Sky Walk at the roof top of the museum), Ward’s Lake and Lady Hydari Park. Evening visit Glass Mosque (Madina Masjid, an imposing and resplendent structure of glass dome and glass minarets), and later proceed to Umiam Lake (Popularly known as Barapani Lake). Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast transfer to Guwahati Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport for Kolkata and after arrives in Kolkata transfer to hotel and free time and shopping. Overnight stay at Kolkata.
After Breakfast at Hotel transfer to Guwahati Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport . Arrive Dhaka with good memories of Shillong Experience with FNF Tourism Services for next destination. Tour complete and return to sweet home.
