Darjeeling is a town in India’s West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It’s famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.
Sikkim is a state in northeastern India. It borders Tibet in the north and northeast, Bhutan in the east, Nepal in the west, and West Bengal in the south. Sikkim is also located close to India’s Siliguri Corridor near Bangladesh. A part of the Eastern Himalaya, Sikkim is notable for to Kangchenjunga, its biodiversity, Including alpine and subtropical climates, as well as being a host the highest peak in India and third highest on Earth. Sikkim’s capital and largest city is Gangtok. Gangtok is at the Center of Sikkim’s tourism industry.
Start Journey from Dhaka to Gangtok(Sikkim) from Hazrat Shahjalal International airport. After morning breakfast check out from Hotel & transfer to Gangtok you can see the beautiful river Teesta on the way, the mighty Kanchenjunga. On arrival Gangtok check in Hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Morning breakfast at hotel – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & 2 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary. Back to Gangtok - Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After an early breakfast, we proceed on a visit to World famous Ropeway, Rumtek Monastery, Tashi View point, Ganesh Tok , Himalayan Zoological Park ,Hanuman Tok, etc. Evening free at the city Centre. Overnight at Gangtok.
